It all started back in 2014 in a nightclub called Jellybaby - truly the most romantic of settings. Between questionable music choices and probably too many drinks, we somehow managed to find each other… and the rest is history.

Fast forward to 2018 and we’d upgraded from the dancefloor to our first flat together in Cathcart. We quickly discovered each other’s annoying habits (still ongoing), survived flat-pack furniture arguments, and soon realised we quite liked doing life side by side and wanted this forever.

Somewhere in between, we fell in love with Nerja - sun, tapas, and pretending we might move there one day. Closer to home, we also made a special tradition of Christmas trips to Fairmont St Andrews - purely for the festive spirit… and definitely not just the spa and restaurants.

In 2021 we bought our first house in Cambuslang, which felt very grown-up and responsible of us. Neither of us realised just how many mishaps and DIY jobs you could encounter, like the feature hole in the living room ceiling and the great garage disaster.

Then on 23rd December 2023 - back at the Fairmont, Ryan finally got organised enough to put a ring on it. Thankfully, the answer was yes.

From nightclub beginnings to Christmas engagements, it’s been a pretty good run so far and we can’t wait for the next chapter of our lives to unfold.
